Hunter College Campus MovieFest Red Carpet Premiere
Campus MovieFest. This past Friday Campus MovieFest invaded my school, Hunter College. 20 student films entered, 16 made it as campus finalists and 4 were chosen to move onto the grand finals. The event was a true successful! The red carpet was rolled out, Campus MovieFest reps with present and students were in full attendance. Prior to attending the movie fest I watch a few movie but not all and I was truly surprised but the creative short films that premiered. For all the students that took the challenge to make a film in a week whether they were winners or not truly have something to be proud of; applauds goes out to them. The vibe throughout the whole screening was great in part by the lively student atmosphere and the host did a great job of keeping the mood at a high level. Complimentary drinks and popcorn were served, and free giveaways allowed the night to be a complete victory. Actually thinking of attending the grand finals, and maybe next year I’ll submit a film….or maybe just a campus ambassador! See Y’all Next Year!
